Give your business Its Own Number

dOS sets up a dedicated number for your business. Customers text it instead of your cell, your team answers from one inbox, and opt outs are enforced for you.

What you get

A number that belongs to the business, not to a phone

  • A dedicated business number

dOS provisions and manages a number just for your business. Customers text it, and your personal cell stays personal.

  • Answered by the whole team

Every text to the number lands in one shared inbox. The conversation belongs to the business, not to whoever's phone it happened to reach.

  • Add iMessage to the same number

iMessage is an optional add-on. With it, you pick how each reply travels before you send it, and both land in the same conversation on your business number.

  • Carrier verification, step by step

Texting US and Canadian numbers needs carrier verification. A guided form in Settings asks for your business details, your use case and how your contacts opted in.

  • STOP and HELP handled for you

Opt out keywords are enforced at the carrier, so a contact who texts STOP cannot be messaged again by mistake unless they opt back in.

  • Self serve or fully managed

Run your messaging on the self serve option, or on the fully managed one, where our team provisions and activates the number for you.

Why it works

Your customers should not be texting your cell

When the business runs through someone's personal phone, every customer conversation sits between family texts and group chats, and it walks out the door with whoever owns the phone.

With dOS the number belongs to the business. Every conversation on it lands in one inbox your team shares, where it can go straight onto a pipeline.

Questions

What people ask about business numbers on dOS

  • Can I keep my existing business number?

No. dOS provisions and fully manages a dedicated number for you, and there is no way to bring an existing business number over today.

  • How do you handle SMS compliance and opt outs?

Every workspace sends on its own isolated messaging setup. On the self serve option, sending to US and Canadian numbers requires carrier verification: a guided form in Settings captures your business details, your use case, and proof of how your contacts opted in. Standard opt out keywords (STOP, HELP) are enforced automatically at the carrier level, so a contact who texts STOP is unsubscribed and cannot be messaged again unless they opt back in. On the fully managed option, registration and opt out compliance are handled by our messaging partner. In every case, you are responsible for messaging only people who have consented to hear from you.

  • Is there a free trial?

Yes. You get 21 days to run your business on dOS. A card is required when you sign up, and you can cancel it yourself in settings at any point during the trial.
